    I have backed my temp to 320 degrees and the color is much better.

    325 20 minutes.

    Try clear coating after baking, with a polycyclic clear.

    That would be a good thing. Mine was 20*+ off if I trusted the cheap thermometer I used to check the temp with. What surprised me the most was the huge swings in temp that the oven cycled at when I did get close to the target temp.

    Ended up buying 1 of these rex-c100 pid digital controllers and life is good. rex-c100+k probe+ssr+heat sink

    Best $20 I've spent in a long time. I use that rex-c100 to control the lead melting/casting pot (lee 20# bottom pour pot) and my cheap toaster oven.
