Went to the ville yesterday got to first spot and chocolate milk colored water and temp dropped 5 degrees since I took the Searg. the other day.
I thought to myself Uh Oh! Didn't feel so bad when I got the the back of the cove at about 11:00 am and seen a buddy back there, he asked why I was following him. He said they'd been there since 7am with only 2. I said well I'm following the wrong person!
Tried a few more spots up North and then headed to Rock Creek and found a bunch of dinks but even they really didn't want to play. They were on a drop off that went from 6 to 12 fow and I really didn't want to mess with Joedog keepers (7" fish)
Ol' Huckleberry (Joedog was fixin fence, I should have stayed back and helped him!
Cold Muddy Water & Empty Boat Ramp Parking Lots this time of Year = Ouch!

At least u went out Bill. As for myself I have had a few times where I didn't ketch some nice ones but been fortunate that I'm so close that I went back later on day and KABOOM HAPPENED or at least caught some.
Do appreciate the post. It's fishing and sometimes this happens.

Here’s my bad report. Too windy here to fish so I cut firewood instead.
