Default Pulled cranks on Barnett again

Got back in town yesterday afternoon from a business trip this week, so I spend my Juneteenth (observed) holiday pulling cranks on The Rez with my son. I was playing around with Bandit 300s, Arkie 350s, and Pico INTs this time and have a little better understanding of how each fish. We ended up with 5 crappie and 4 catfish keepers—we threw back several other catfish and a small smallmouth bass that was under the min length.

I want to try again sometime in the middle of next week before I take a quick trip to Norfork, AR to check on an uncle and to trout fish.Name: IMG_5626.jpg

Pulling cranks can be a blast, what's even better is pulling in the shade.. Look at big umbrellas.

Yes, I had one of them up. When my son gets better at casting baitcasters, i won’t feel like the umbrella on the back deck will be in the way.

I suppose that I could have stopped at the brush piles and tried to Livescope fished them, but it’s getting too hot to stop when there is at least a little relief by moving 1.5 mph.

Good job, good pics. Nice spending your holiday fishing with your son.
