    Bluegill bite is good and when it gets hot I go shallow and throw hula poppers for gar on the topwater. All day action!

    I have several large umbrellas i use depending on where i choose to sit on my large 14’ Jon boat.
    But when the temps reach 90 or more i just feel its not a good thing for a man my age to be out there.
    But i do make at least weekly trips to 3 of the closest lakes from where i live.
    My most recent trip was 2 days ago, and there wasent a single vehicle at any of them.

    Crappie are scarce but I get a few and bluegill are doing go do if the meat fishermen haven’t vacuumed em out. I’m done by 11:00 on most any day.
