    Default Dead battery

This is my situation. My console depth finder runs off of the starting battery. It is just a small Lowrance Hook Reveal. Have not investigated this yet but it seems if I let it run while fishing it drains the starting battery. Anybody found a similar situation?

They usually Don't take much to run them. Possibly something else helping to drag the battery down?

Small as in a 5" or smaller? It will draw less than 300mah, should not be noticeable one bit on a starting battery. In fact a normal group 24 starting batt is about 50ah so to get half way dead it would take 16+ hours.

Simply put, your battery is no good

Charge your battery and have it load tested.

Problem solved. When I hooked up my charger the display said "sulph". I took it back to the store and they confirmed it was bad. I only started the motor 3 times with it.

    Thank for the help all!
