careful there, adding things to a well balanced pond to control it to your liking sometimes ruins them .
seen it done many times to create a more desirable to the eye type of setting and ruin a great small fishery .
my 2 cents
I fish a pond in central Illinois that is a very good producing pond for decent fish. Crappie, bluegill, bass. 2 large grass carps in pond. No trees around pond or cat tails. Typically this pond gets underwater grass and weeds in it making it tough to bank fish mid summer. No aeration either. Size is roughly 300x300’. Depth in center around 30’. Clear water. Someone recommended Aquashade. Thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
