Four Pound Crappie This is a picture of a 4 lb. Crappie I caught April 19, 2001 in Lake Chesdin , Virginia. It was 18 1/2 inches long. Good Fishing, David Dinwiddie, VA
I was a very lucky person to have gotten that bite. I was fishing a llive minnow of which I hardly ever do. I mostly fish jigs. Just happend to buy minnows that day and did something different for a change. I was useing a B&M 12' crappie jig pole and 6 lb. test line. The rest of the story is my friend Jimmy Chappel caught one with me an hour later that weighed 3 lbs 2 ozs. and was 17inches long. I will try to send you a pic of both of us in one pic if you like.  The 3lb. 2 oz. Crappie was caught by my friend Jimmy who was fishing with me that day. He caught his 1 hr. after I caught mine.
