Caught these on Feb. 3rd at the Stick Marsh in east central Florida. I use a jig sold by a bass fishing guide, Jim Porter, see his website  www.stickmarsh.com.  They are the best I've ever used, and I've used all of them. They are called the "Perfect Jig". None of the fish in the picture were under 11" and I caught them between 4:00 and 5:30 PM. Just cast it out and use a slow steady retrieve. You don't have to add any action.
