I live on Lake Eufaula here in Oklahoma and met some really nice folks during out get-together sponsered by Crappie.com in February. Matter of fact, the Lip-Rippers invited me along on a fishing trip that following weekend and we caught the heck out of em.  Later in the month I was shopping for fishing gear in the city of Eufaula at Boy Howdys. They have a large selection of fishing equipment and supplies. While standing at the register I just happened to look down to spot a picture of my new friend, Leland AKA: Lip-Ripper holding a nice stringer of crappie. I told the guy at the register "Hey, I know that guy, that's Leland and a heckuva fisherman." Then the guy said "How about the fisherman in the picture with him holding the other end of the stringer, do you know him too?""Yea, I know him...... " I said with a sheepish grin. Lip-ripper had placed this picture by the cash register of him and I taken the night after our excellent fishing trip earlier. Stinkfinger :) |
