They worked together and with a little help from mom, came up with this.  A Nine year old's perspective!

 

Fishing Is Fun 

Fishing is fun. When you are at home you can dig for worms. You put dirt in a container and put the worms in it and keep them from dying. A worm looks like it has lines all over it's body in circles around it. It is a pinkish color and really wiggly!

When you go to put the minnow on the hook, put it through it's eyes.

When I go fishing it feels good because you never know when you are going to get a fish.

A fun thing about the lake is that sometimes you get to go swimming. It cools me down and it's fun.

Another fun thing about the lake is the boat riding. It's one of my favorite things to do. I really like to ride on the bow of the boat. It's a little bit bouncy sometimes and feels like a water ride at the amusement park. I also like the way the wind tickles my toungue.

I really like fishing because a lot of times my sister isn't there and I get my Mom all to myself. It's fun to think about what kind of fish I'm going to get next.

 It is always important to remember the rules when you go fishing.

• No jumping out of the boat
• Don't go swimming right after you eat
• Don't swim too far out
• Never throw trash in the lake
• No standing in the boat when it is moving
• Always wear your life jacket

 Once when I went fishing, me and my mom were throwing the anchor out. When I looked in the anchor bucket and saw that the rope wasn't tied to anything. I told my mother and she lost her anchor. LOL
