Your favorite fish filets (Sac-a-lait) Cajun for Crappie for me! Zatarain's Seasoned Fish-Fri French's yellow mustard Buttermilk Lea&Perrins Worcestershire Sauce Red pepper,black pepper,salt,garlic powder,onion power Peanut Oil Remove any excess moisture from filets and season to your taste with dry seasonings. I use salt sparingly because the Zatarains contains some salt. Next I apply a few dashes of Lea&Perrins to the filets and coat them liberally with mustard. I then pour buttermilk over filets and soak for at least 15 minutes. To fry roll or shake filets in Zatarains Fish-Fri and drop in peanut oil heated to 365 degrees. Enjoy!!! |
