Good day and one wet morning at Bellows lake in Union Michigan. Got to fish one evening and one morning before the rain drove us away. I was using Berkely gulp 3"chartreuse twister tails, fishing them about 8' in 20' of water. Got my limit of 25 the 1st evening w/ a few 13"+ and fished the next morning in a steady rain, boated about a dozen w/ a 14" kicker. |

Back in the mid-60's, when I was a year or two out of high school, I ran with a guy from New York state that I'd graduated with. Frank Regerro and I were constant companions, spending all of our free time fishing and/or hunting during the day, and double dating at night, with the girls that we both eventually married. I had been fishing for years before meeting Frank, but he's the one I credit with teaching me to hunt. |

You'll hear stories from people all around the world saying, "I know what the best lure is." I came across a jig that looked pretty interesting to try, they were Tube jigs. I never really was a fan of tube jigs for crappie fishing, but as all of you Bass fisherman know, Tube jigs really work.
Well, about a month ago, I was down at river where I usually fish, and nobody was catching anything. So, I casted and it wasn't 45 seconds when WHAM! I got a bite. Pulled him out, put him on the stringer and cast again. 30 seconds later WHAM! another. Then just my luck, I had to go home and eat dinner. HAHAHAHA! But I brought home some NICE fish! Tube jigs, go figure. SEND CRAPPIE.COM YOUR STORIES - EMAIL ME AT
